PAVE Partner OTT participated in MERI Forum in Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq

From 31 October to 2 November 2022, PAVE partners Juline Beaujouan and Amjed Rasheed (OTT) participated in the MERI Forum in Erbil, Iraq. The MERI Forum is a high-level policy event that is held annually in Iraq, bringing together local, national and international policymakers, academics, civil society leaders, journalists, diplomats and opinion-leaders to debate high-priority issues that are affecting both Iraq and the wider region, and offer solutions.

In order to bring the collaboration with PAVE’s sister project PREVEX further, they participated in a PREVEX-organised panel entitled Prevention of Violent Extremism in the Middle East, which kick-started the forum on the evening of 31st October.
